WHAT IS HBCA
Heartbeat Christian Academy is a Heartbeat FM initiative, founded for the sole purpose of facilitating, promoting and providing affordable Christian Education. We do this by partnering with various already established institutions in the educational space.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
During 2016 discussions commenced with Mr. Avril Ahrends the managing director of Heartbeat FM 103.9 and 107.4 to establish Christian based educational initiative.
A divine connection and partnership with Ps. Terry and Wenna Terblanche enabled us to launch our first product during 2017, Passion for Christ Bible School.
Passion for Christ Bible School
The School offers a 3-year qualification with annual exit points:
- Certificate in Christian Discipleship
- Diploma in Leadership
- Advanced Diploma in Ministry
Other HBCA Products
Teach Every Nation
HBCA is an approved TEN training center. TEN offers the Bible School on Wheels curriculum with ten core courses and 5 electives
South African Theological Seminary
During 2019 a collaboration agreement was secured with SATS. This enables HBCA to play a vital part in assisting students to secure fully accredited degrees. Currently SATS offers,
- Bachelor of Theology
- Bachelor of Theology (Honors)
- Master of Theology
- Doctor of Philosophy in Theology
- Higher Certificate in Christian Counselling
- Higher Certificate in Christian Life

Christian Leaders Institute
HBCA operates as a mentor center for CLI. This enables us to facilitate student infrastructure and support for a wide variety of courses offered by CLI online.
